49 units set up in Chhattisgarh to make paint from cow dung
The Chhattisgarh government has established 49 units across 29 districts to make paint from cow dung. So far, 2 lakh litres of natural paint has been produced and ā¹2.5 crores has been paid to 2,000 women working in self-help groups. The initiative is part of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, which aims to promote livestock conservation and empower women through self-employment. The state has proposed the construction of 95 natural paint manufacturing units.
