Anwar Dhebar, prime accused in the Chhattisgarh liquor scam, transferred ₹776 crore to "political executives" and planned to replicate the corruption model in Jharkhand. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a charge sheet in the case, revealing that commissions and bribes were collected in four different ways. The ED has not disclosed the names of the beneficiaries of the ₹776 crore, but investigations are ongoing. Dhebar also moved large amounts of cash to Delhi and Mumbai through hawala and paid cash to the ruling party in Chhattisgarh for electioneering.
