New control room will track 66 airports to enhance security, combat congestion

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has set up an Airport Security Control Centre (ASCC) to monitor security and passenger movement at airports in real-time. The centre will also monitor social media posts and respond to possible terror threats and congestion. The ASCC will have access to CCTV footage from all airports and will work with other agencies when needed. The move is aimed at improving security and coordination at airports across the country.
